- Early Action: November 1
- Early Decision I: November 1
- Early Decision II: January 15
- Regular Decision: January 15
Transfer Applicants
Transfer students who apply to Sarah Lawrence want more for themselves. Whether transferring from four-year private or public colleges and universities, community and junior colleges, or international institutions, students who transfer to Sarah Lawrence College seek the freedom to study across disciplines and desire to work one-on-one with one of the best faculties in the United States.
Deadlines for admission as a transfer student are:
- March 1 for Fall Semester admission
- November 1 for Spring Semester admission
International Applicants
Non-US citizens make up 13 percent of Sarah Lawrence’s student body and hail from more than 50 countries. With outstanding global connections and networks and a culturally diverse campus, Sarah Lawrence is an international community located just outside one of the most international cities in the world.
Financial Aid
We invest over $32 million in our students every year through a combination of merit scholarships, need-based grants, and student employment. Over 75 percent of students receive some form of financial aid. Our average financial aid package is more than $38,000. Sarah Lawrence students graduate with an average federal student loan debt of less than $19,000.
